TYLOTEC™
(TILE MORTAR ADDITIVE COMPOUND)

Description- TYLOTEC™ is a polymer modified emulsion which imparts high bond and flexural strength between tiles and masonry/concrete surface.
Traditionally we use to fix tiles on surface with normal cement, sand mortar. As a result of advance technology for ease of application ready mix mortar is now available as called TILE ADHESIVE. But advancement of technology adds little negative approach. Ready mix tile adhesive dry mortar has one major disadvantage, when the bag is opened for use, due to rapid setting property of the cement used in dry mortar, in contact with moisture the remaining powder in bag absorbs moisture and hydration starts. As a result, due to any delay in workmanship or handling, desired property cannot be achieved and this is not possible to test immediately the bond strength and flexural strength of tiles once this is fixed.
8) Advantage of TYLOTEC™ - This is a high strength developing emulsion polymer. This is compatible with all kind of cements and sand available at site. Mason only has to prepare a simple mortar mix and adding 250ml. TYLOTEC™ in one litre of gauging water and thorough mixing of mortar before fixing the tiles as per traditional methods. Joints between tiles can be easily sealed with cement and TYLOTEC™ paste. This prepared mortar is self cured.
9) This is such a traditional method that no special skill or instruction is required to guide a mason.

Material is non hazardous and very safe for handling. Dose can be adjusted as per client’s requirement, depending on its early setting time and economical point of view. This is the latest type of polymer compound for tile fixing job.
